Art at Medallion Gallery
We are proud to announce the opneing of our art gallery under the direction of Naveed Nour. Medallion Gallery is dedicated to the arts, and as part of our endeavor we have established an exhibit space for the promotion of fine arts. We are committed to exhibit art by established and emerging artists in all media. Our gallery space is available for various periods of time, based on the work and artist who is being exhibited.

Exhibiting at Medallion Gallery
Every year the curator of the gallery chooses four artists who will be selected based on research and other criteria, determined by the gallery. The rental fee will be waived for these artists. For the remainder of the year, the gallery space will be available for rent. Artists who are interested in renting the space will submit a proposal that includes an artist statement, resume, a comprehensive list of the art pieces to be exhibit and digital files of the collection. Medallion Gallery will assist the artist to promote their exhibit, while the artist will pay for postcards and mailing services. The artist will also be responsible for the reception cost. The gallery will collect 30 percent of commission for handling customers and completing sales transactions. The artist will be issued payment 30 days after the closing of the exhibit, to ensure that customers are not returning the purchased art.
Medallion Gallery will provide the following services:
- Display area for a range of 10 to 15 frames of the size of 20x24 (based on the layout)
- Flood lights to illuminate all displayed work
- Podium for guestbook
- Electronic Marketing to the Medallion Gallery email list
- Submitting of exhibit info to all media in metro Boston
- Submitting of exhibit info to all relevant blogs and websites
- Upon request, a mailing list of local households is also available
- Medallion Gallery will print a poster for public display
- The gallery will be open to the public 7 days a week
- The exhibit will be featured on Medallion’s website and will remain on our website, to be used by the artist as a reference.
- We will provide the artist with a reference letter upon request.
We encourage the artist to meet with us at the gallery prior to submitting their proposal. We value our relationship with our artists and patrons. An initial introduction will be crucial to establish such a relationship.

New Work by Julie Napoli
Oct. 2 - Nov.15, 2008 | Opening Reception Thursday October 2, 7-9PM
"We see things through screens. Everything we look at is colored by our perceptions, our personalities, our experiences. Thus, when we look at an object, a scene, or even a person, we are likely not seeing it as it truly is. Instead, we are looking through a haze of our own creation." - Julie Napoli |>> Exhibit Page
